It was created as part of the Katowice Street Art Festival 2013, included in the Black Gold series. The project tells the story of the city's dusty treasures from a post-modernist perspective.

The mural depicts the building of the Michalik Variete Center at 10 Korfantego Street, which was demolished by the city of Katowice.

This cycle also includes murals depicting: Cinema Kosmos, which was completely rebuilt in 2006 (the mural no longer exists), and a mural depicting the Wedding Palace at 16 Korfantego Street, which was demolished by the city of Katowice – the mural is located at 8 Floriana Street.
