The mural is located at the Municipal Cultural Center "Bogucice-Zawodzie" at 44a Markiefki Street. It was created in 2020 thanks to funding from the Multiannual Program NIEPODLEGŁA for the years 2017-2022 as part of the Grant Program "Niepodległa." It stands out because it was painted by the city's residents, with only the supervision of artists. It depicts important places, figures, and events related to the period of the Silesian Uprisings. In the coming years, the mural will be expanded with additional elements, thanks to the generosity of Alpol and the Katowice Housing Cooperative.
