The mural depicts Marian Rejewski, Henryk Zygalski, and Jerzy Różycki, the individuals responsible for breaking the Enigma code, the cypher machine used by Nazi Germany. It was thanks to their work that the British had access to encrypted German correspondence during World War II. This tremendous achievement in the field of cryptology contributed to the victory of the Allies in the war.
