Colourful murals have appeared on the facade of the historic directorate building of the Uthemanna Steelworks in Katowice. The Zinc and Non-Ferrous Metals Plant "Uthemann" in Szopienice was one of the largest producers of rolled copper and brass products in Poland. From the entire complex of buildings, only the director's office and the water tower have survived to this day. The building is in private hands and is currently undergoing renovation. The works bringing the building to life were created as part of the Dajse – Mural initiative organised by the young Katowice group DAJSE. The organization invited 5 artists to collaborate, who, as part of the initiative, created their original projects on the walls of the steelworks. The murals were created in the places of former windows, thus filling the gaps in the building's facade. Diverse images together form the name DAJSE. Each letter was designed by a different creator:

D – Damian Dideńko (an artist using the pseudonym Didiusz. He is involved in illustration and tattooing. He has collaborated with brands such as Puma, Medicine, and Pepsi.

A – Daniel Kowacki (illustrator and graphic designer from Częstochowa).

J – Joanna Ambroz (balances her actions between art and design. She is inspired by sexuality, passion, emotions, and dead-end situations.

S – Artur Stec (active graffiti writer, participating in Polish street art culture since the late 90s).

E – Damian Ziółkowski (designer and artist from Warsaw. In his works, he uses the latest technologies and seeks innovative artistic solutions.

The murals were created over the course of two days, and the process was open to observers, who could meet friends and admire the creation of the murals in a unique atmosphere. The initiative aimed to bring art closer to the residents of Katowice and create another interesting spot on the city's map.
