The mural titled "Łysek z karbońskiej komnaty" is located on the side wall of a building at 130c Gliwicka Street in the Załęże district of Katowice. It was unveiled on September 28, 2021. The inspiration for the work was Gustaw Morcinek's story "Łysek z pokładu Idy" and the puppet show of the same title, produced by the Silesian Puppet and Actor Theatre "Ateneum" and directed by Konrad Dworakowski.

The mural is a tribute to the horses that once worked in Silesian mines, often remaining underground for their entire lives. The central figure of the composition is Łysek – a horse enjoying regained freedom, depicted in a wreath of oats and surrounded by Carboniferous vegetation, from which coal deposits were formed millions of years ago. On the left side is St. Barbara, the patron saint of miners, and on the right is the Stollengeist, the Silesian spirit of the mine, illuminating Łysek's path.

The work is maintained in the characteristic fairy-tale style of Mona Tusz. For its creation, paints that shimmer like coal and reflective and mirrored elements were used. The composition also hides a small figure of a cat sitting on the head of the Coot. The mural symbolically connects the history of mining, local legends, and the memory of the animals that accompanied miners in their work for decades.
