The street art project was created as part of the "Clothes Full of Power 2.0" initiative launched by the Katowice Gallery. The selection of the winning concept was preceded by an online vote among the residents.

The composition combines ecological themes with Silesian symbolism. It features references to the regional costume and the motif of roses associated with Nikiszowiec. Thanks to this, the realisation serves both as a contemporary artistic intervention in public space and a visual narrative about local identity.

The mural was created using photocatalytic paints, whose coating has self-cleaning properties and helps break down some of the pollutants settling on the facade. This technology reduces the accumulation of dirt, dust, mould, and other microorganisms, and also helps neutralise some compounds present in the air, including those from exhaust fumes and heating systems.

The implementation shows that street art can serve not only an aesthetic and symbolic function but also a practical one. It is an example of the combination of art, modern technology, and a responsible approach to the quality of the urban environment.
