Traditionally, the OFF Festival has left a lasting mark on the urban space. The painting was created on the wall of a building at 1 Maja 87 Street. Its author, Julian Jakub Ziółkowski, born in 1980, is a graduate of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, associated with the Foksal Gallery Foundation, whose works have been exhibited in galleries in Paris, London, and New York, among others. Ziółkowski's eclectic and psychedelic style evokes associations with surrealists and expressionists on one hand, and cubists on the other, as well as comparisons to great visionaries—from Hieronymus Bosch to Pablo Picasso.
